Professional Experience

I received my Master’s Degree in Contempletive Psychotherapy from The Naropa University in 1988. I have subsequently worked in community mental health with adults, children and families with the Mental Health Center of Denver and the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless. In 2004, I entered into private practice, working with individuals and particularly couples.

In addition to my academic training, I have also completed an intensive training program in Relational Empowerment Therapy with Terrence Real, LCSW, of the Relational Life Institute. I am currently enrolled in a three year “Master Class” with Hedy Schleifer, MA, in the study of “Encounter-Centered Couples Therapy.”
